Hi everyone,

I’m trying to set up VoIP calls on my TP‑Link Archer VR1200, but I’m stuck with the configuration. I have the necessary credentials from my provider, but I’m not sure which fields to fill in under 192.168.1.1 → Advanced → Telephony/VoIP → Telephone Numbers → Add.

Here’s what I think the fields might be:

Field Example Value
Phone Number [your line number]
Registrar Address [provider server]
SIP Proxy [provider server]
Outbound Proxy [provider server]
Registrar Port 5060
SIP Proxy Port 5060
Outbound Proxy Port 5060
Authentication ID [your line number]
Password [your SIP password]

I have already:

  • Updated to the latest firmware

  • Disabled SIP ALG

Questions:

  1. Are these fields correct for VoIP setup on the VR1200?

  2. Has anyone successfully configured VoIP on this router?

  3. If not, do I need an external VoIP ATA adapter or alternative firmware?

Any step-by-step help or screenshots would be greatly appreciated.
