@pjs_gsy in my experience of deco updates, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  If your WiFi is stable then leave the updates we'll alone.  They have caused nothing but problems for me personally. 

I know that we should theoretically apply latest updates for security and stability but in my experience it always ended up breaking something causing me more hassle. 

My old apple airport extreme went out of support years ago and yet I never had a single issue until I had to update due to the need for faster throughput. 

My advice would be leave well alone unless there's a specific problem that you're trying to address that is covered by a firmware update. 

Unless you enjoy losing a day of work trying to fix all of the problems that clicking that tempting update button causes in the promise of a better Wi-Fi experience.

  @pjs_gsy Never got a response to this one (an answer, anyway). Does this newer XE750 Pro firmware include the 2.4Ghz bandwith fix for narrower band? I cannot use the firmwares that have the wide band 2.4Ghz - The connection is just far too unstable for me in my situation. I have a 'tweaked' version from support from 6 months or so back at the moment that fixes that. I know it was planned to add the ability to select the 2.4ghz bandwidth as you can for the 5ghz channels. Wondering if this was done yet, or the narrow band 2.4Ghz was supported in this version of the firmware? Asking, as its not a 'try and see', given the new firmware clearly states you cannot revert.
