I've just installed the firmware 1.3.1 Build 20250918 Rel. 49303 on it. So far it hasn't dropped the connection yet, fingers crossed!

Yes, I've tried the 4G only mode and it works just fine.

 

I'm not sure if this is related but my carrier (YES 5G) recently rolled out 5G-SA. I doubt Deco supports it but the issue starts when I'm connected to N78 band. My carrier supports both band including N28 which worked fine.

 

I'll try to reach out to local support as well just in case.

I've tried various combinations. What works better is locking the band down to a single band if possible (5G). It's not perfect, but more consistent.  I found finding a good placement for the unit, then locking to this band is where I got to. Selected the ISP rather than auto, locking the cell wasn't so successful - so I've left that as the default. 
 

Re "use 4G" - whilst i am not against this, if I'd have wanted a 4G service I may have bought a different router. 
 

For now, my setup is working for me, I'll stick with it. 
 

Things I'd like:

- don't forget a device connection preference when the network changes, typically a network change maybe a momentary loss of a remote deco. The loss of preference and having to manually reinstate is a ball-ache. 
- sort the client list out in the app, always out of date. 
- wps for iot network please. 
- "smart devices" panel in app, needs improvement,  not all smart devices are TP-L, therefore other 3rd party devices aren't picked up. No way to add something like a tado rad thermostat.
