Hello,

 

There is a very important feature missing in the Deco app — the Sleep Mode option.

 

For example, we may sometimes want to temporarily turn off (put to sleep) one of the Deco units remotely, and later wake it up again when needed. In other words, a remote on/off control or a way to disable and re-enable Wi-Fi broadcasting would be very useful.

 

This feature already exists and is frequently used on other brands, such as the Cudy M3000 model. However, Deco currently only offers a “Restart” option.

 

Could you please consider adding this feature in a future update? It would make Deco systems much more flexible and user-friendly.

  @enesrosi hi! Two weeks ago you had problems with firmware 1.7.1 connection preference. How is 1.7.1 running on your deco x50? I have 1.6.7 running and everything is working fine. Don't wanna ruin my deco firmware with 1.7.1. So.. could you give a heads up?

Hello,

 

Actually, I didn’t experience any issues. It’s just that the connection preference setting wasn’t working properly at first. Later, it fixed itself, and now everything is working perfectly. You can go ahead and update it with peace of mind.

Hi, is there only Deco X50_V1 in the Mesh network?

If yes, your Mesh network should support ECO mode, and there is a "WiFi Schedule" under ECO mode that allows to disable WiFi broadcasting for all Deco X50 units in the mesh network:What’s the ECO mode and how do you configure it on Deco?

Thank you for your reply and for mentioning the ECO mode.

Yes, I’m aware of that feature — but as I understand, it disables Wi-Fi broadcasting for all Deco units at the same time.

 

What I’m suggesting is something a bit different:

A feature that allows users to individually control each Deco unit — for example, temporarily turn off (sleep) one specific Deco while keeping the others active.

 

This would be very useful for users who have Decos in different rooms or areas and don’t always need all of them running at once.
