Phenomenon:
Hi VX1800v users, we have received feedback that when using the Telephony (VoIP) feature on the Archer VX1800v (specifically with Australian ISPs), you may experience the following symptoms regarding incoming calls:
- The phone rings only once/twice and then stops ringing.
- Despite the phone stopping to ring, the line is not disconnected and the caller may still hear the ringing tone.
- Picking up the handset allows the conversation to proceed normally.
Available Solution:
Our relevant departments have identified the cause and provided beta firmware. Please manually download the beta firmware and test whether the VoIP function works as expected.

- The specific model, firmware, and hardware version.
- ISP information.
