Model: Archer TBE400U
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Archer TBE400UH(EU)_V1_20250617,5002.24.126.4_Win10_Win11

I recently purchased a TP-Link USB Wi-Fi adapter, but I am experiencing a persistent issue where the device randomly turns itself off and back on again (disconnecting and reconnecting immediately).

My System Specifications:

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Home (Version 25H2)

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen [5 5600h]

  • USB Port: USB 3.0

  • Device Model: Archer TBE400UH

What I’ve noticed:

  1. The device disappears from the Device Manager for a second and then reappears.

  2. It happens regardless of the distance to the router.

  3. I have tried different USB ports, but the result is the same.

I suspect it might be a driver compatibility issue with the latest Windows 11 build or an aggressive power management setting. Could you please provide a compatible driver or a workaround for this issue?

Hello @Berka ,

Welcome to our community.

It sounds like the network adapter connection is unstable. Here are the troubleshooting steps that may help:

For your wireless USB adapter:
1. Verify network stability: Connect another device to the same Wi-Fi network to confirm the network itself is stable. If that device also experiences instability, contact your router manufacturer for assistance.
2. Disable built-in Wi-Fi adapter: If your computer has a built-in Wi-Fi adapter, disable it in Device Manager to avoid potential interference.
3. Test signal strength: Move the adapter closer to your router (within 10-15 feet) to ensure better signal strength during testing.
4. Disable power-saving mode: Please refer to Case 2 on this link: What if the TP-Link network adapter is not working properly in my computer?

Best Regards.
