Hi, 

with the reports all over the media around the russian hacker group APT28/Fancy Bear I realized that my access point is on the list of affected devices (TP WL850AE V6). As the latest firmware in the download section is from 2020, I am assuming this is not new enough to fix the problem. I was reading in gemini & chatgpt the firmware should be from 2024 or newer to be on the safe side. 

Is there work going on to upgrade this model with a newer firmware (if so, when to be expected) or should I dispose the access point and purchase a new one? I would like to continue using the current version and the performance is more than sufficient for my application but I don't want to have a compromised device in my network.
