H110 won't accept ir function with remote controls

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: Na

Just recently got the device, bought the device for control of TV and set top box but when trying to pair the remote with the h110 it doesn't recognise the IR function . I've tried on 3 devices but still to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
