Wirelessly connected machines need a better option than the remote management software, the avenue most targeted by nefarious or bad-faith actors. A dedicated PC app would help bridge that gap. I refuse to believe that any andriod system could be safer than any PC system given proper intent. Can we build something meaningful?

Hello  @LS0H9 ,

Welcome to our community.

Your point is very insightful; in the broader context of networking, security considerations regarding remote management interfaces certainly cannot be overlooked.

At this time, TP-Link's primary management options are the Tether mobile app and the web management interface accessible via a browser at http://tplinkwifi.net. It is worth noting that users do not need a mobile device to access the web management interface; a standard desktop or laptop browser suffices. Furthermore, you can configure and harden remote access by following the instructions in the TP-Link remote management settings, such as restricting access to specific IP addresses or custom ports. This may help alleviate your concerns about centralizing management on a computer rather than a mobile device. How to Set Up Remote Management on TP-Link Routers.

Regarding your feature suggestions for the dedicated PC application, you can submit them as formal product feedback in the "Feature Request (Routers)" section.
