Hey everyone,
We're excited to share early access to a new firmware update for several of our Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 Deco Models that brings New Features like ad-filtering, Parental Control Enhancements, and a fix for anomalous IPv6 Dial-Up behavior in some scenarios.


This firmware is currently in pre-release; however, your testing and feedback may help accelerate its official release!

Deco X50-PoE/HB6300-PoE V2.0


Firmware Modifications:

 

New Features and Enhancements:
  1. Added support for the ad-filtering feature.
  2. Added support for setting block durations in parental control.
  3. Optimized other parental control features.

 

Bug Fixes:
  1. Fixed an issue where MAP-E dial-up (IPv6) in Japan was unable to access the Internet.

Notes:

  • Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
  • Please ensure your Deco app is fully up-to-date.
  • There will be an official firmware release in the future. If you are not comfortable using beta firmware, please wait for the official release or contact our support team for assistance.

Good afternoon. Could you please tell me when the "whitelist" feature is scheduled to be updated firmware for the combined use of the Deco X50-PoE and Deco X50-Outdoor?

Update Deco x50-poe v2 firmware 1.7.2

The "whitelists" still aren't working. When the Deco X50-Outdoor satellite unit is disconnected, the "Allow List" feature in the Deco app becomes available for use.

 

The problem really does in the compatibility of the Deco-X50-Outdoor specifically.

Hi, 
The Deco X50-Outdoor v1.0 with firmware v1.3.1 does not support the Allow List feature, so it disappears from the Deco app when the Deco X50-Outdoor is added to the existing Deco X50-PoE network.


The Allow List feature is planned to be added to the Deco X50-Outdoor; however, we don't have information on when it will be available. It's recommended to pay attention to firmware update notifications in the Deco app or to the firmware details on our official website.

No issues were found with the IPv6 protocol. Devices successfully obtain IPv6 addresses and operate using the protocol. It would be desirable to add a feature to the Deco app to display clients' IPv6 addresses.

The Deco X50-PoE operates in Dual-Stack router mode and obtains IPv6 addresses from the ISP.
