Hello. I wanted to access my router web browser but unfortunately I have forgotten the password. I click " Forgotten Password?" and It wanted me to "Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds to restore the router to its factory defaults." And so I did, but afterwards it doesn't reset the password. Therefore, I still unable to access my router web browser. Does anyone have any solution to this specific issue? It would be much appreciate if advice is given.

What should I do if I forget my web management password?

• If you are using a TP-Link ID to log in, or you have enabled the Password Recovery feature of the router, click Forgot password on the login page and then follow the instructions to reset it.

• Alternatively, press and hold the Reset button of the router until the Power LED blinks to restore factory default settings, and then visit http://tplinkwifi.net to create a new login password.

Note: You’ll need to reconfigure the router to surf the internet once the router is reset, and please mark down your new password for future use.

Here's a guide on this procedure.

Once I reset my router, the wifi will be off and there will be no connection. Therefore, I no longer can even enter the web page itself

Upon successful reset, your router wireless radio should be on.

On the bottom sticker are the wireless radio SSID and password.

If the issue persists, contact your local support for further assistance.
