Hi Team,


i just had a new DECO X50-DSL(1.0) with software release 1.2.0 Build 20260309 Rel. 30864


i have all config working fine, except the IPTV (i have 2 connected Huawei STBs, and using IPTV VLAN and internet with no VLAN)


the issue is every time the DECO X50-DSL reboots the IPTV stop working and i get errors on the STBs, the fix is to disable the IPTV config and then re-configure it again using same exact config then it works fine, then after reboot IPTV stop working then i have to remove the config and add it again and so on which is really frustrating, any ideas why this is happening and if there is a way to fix it?

Hi, 
Please confirm the following information about the reported case.


  1. What's the version of your Deco App? Please ensure your Deco App is up to date.
  2. Who is your internet service provider? Is the Deco connected to a phone line to access the internet?
  3. After the Deco rebooted and the IPTV stopped working, do the IPTV settings remain in the Deco App?
  4. Please send us a screenshot of the IPTV/VLAN page in your Deco App.

1-I am using the latest Deco app from apple App Store (attched)
2-yes I am using the phone line with VDSL2, the service provider is WE Egypt (IPTV connection is bridge with VLAN)
3-after any reboot the IPTV config is there unchanged but it's not effective or working, and it's working again after the woraround by disable Iptv config then save then reconfigure it and save again.

Hi Sherif, 
This reported phenomenon requires further investigation to locate the root cause; we recommend contacting the technical support team for further assistance.
 

Alternatively, you can provide the following information for analysis.
  1. Do you only have one Deco X50-DSL for the internet connection? If you have other Deco nodes, what's the model number?
  2. What's the Internet Connection Type you have configured on the Deco X50-DSL, such as PPPoE, Dynamic IP, etc.?
  3. Regarding this content "it's working again after the woraround by disable Iptv config then save then reconfigure it and save again", after you disable IPTV > Save > Enable IPTV, do you need to change any settings, or just click on Save and then the IPTV will work again?
