Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.8.4

I have been using Deco X50 1.30 for a long time. For some time now, after connecting Deco M4R to Deco X50, I can't find the Network Access Control option. However, when I reboot M4R, the Network Access Control option appears. When M4R is turned on again, it disappears. What is the reason for this? Since X50 is used as the main router, the features of X50 should be given priority. So, there is no chance of Network Access Control disappearing for M4R. I want a quick solution to this problem.

Hi,
The Wi-Fi Access Control feature appears only if all Deco units on the network support it; since the M4 doesn't support it, it will disappear once the M4 is powered on.

We don't have information on whether or when the Deco M4 will support the Wi-Fi Access Control feature. It's recommended to pay attention to the firmware on our official website to view the new firmware and the changes in it.

Best Regards

Hi,
Since client devices will connect to both the main Deco and the satellite Deco, the Wi-Fi Access Control feature appears only when both Deco nodes support it.
Best Regards
