Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.0

My mesh is comprised of two versions of the TP Link Deco XE75 mesh nodes (2x V1 + 2x V2). I purchased them a few years ago to act as a low investment network since my the only other Tech guy in my household refused to do anything about the network.

In recent year, Auto-Update because a thing which leaving on was a big mistake. Everything was working fine until I started backing up bulk data over the network where the V2 satellite units started going down. I can confirm this is only happening to the V2 units running firmware version 1.5.0.

I've seen another post on here stating recreating their network helped a little but, but that is beyond normal. Are there any plans to fix this issue during the coming days? If not, I will have to rollback to an older firmware.

  @Fresh_Brew

Hi,
There are no known issues with the Deco XE75 V2(v1.5.0), and the information provided is insufficient to identify the root cause of the reported phenomenon. Please provide the following information for further analysis.

  1. In the Deco App > Network tab, please tap a Deco and send us screenshots of the Show Map and Show List pages.
  2. How do you back up bulk data over the network? Please describe the trigger for the satellite Deco's disconnection behavior in detail.
  3. Do the two satellite Deco XE75 V2 drop the connection at the same time? Is the LED status on the Deco flashing red?
  4. What's the firmware version of your two Deco XE75 V1?

Best Regards
