Hi,
I have a customer with a relatively straightforward network - single SBS server, Draytek router, a few switches, etc. They have nine TL-PS310U devices with various label printers attached (mostly Dymo Labelwriter 450, but some others), all on static IP addresses in the correct range. Some of the TP-Link devices drop off the network from time to time, i.e. stop responding to pings or any other traffic. Switching off and on usually works, but this can happen several times an hour, or they can run well for weeks. We can't work out what is causing this to happen, does anyone else have experience with multiple devices, are there any tricks or things to change when using multiple devices? Any tips or things to look for?

Hello!

I have the same problem with our device, I know that is old thread but i can't find solution anywhere. Has someone resolved this issue?

Hi, I'm afraid we never solved it and have stopped using TP-Link devices.

Hi, we bought PS310U for Konica Minolta Bizhub 211.

Printing works fine over the supplied "MFP and Storage Server"

application ver. 0.0.5.3 Jan-10-2012
PSM DLL v2.0.5.3 Dec-08-2008

printing works over TCP/IP(LPR) from Windows 7 and WIndows 8
scanning works over TWAIN from AbbyFineReader ...


but the device hangs/freezes. No longer visible in the application and unable to connect or ping the IP. This happens couple times a day. I need to disconnect the DC power jack to reboot it multiple times a day. This is unacceptable for a working environment. Do we have a faulty unit ? RMA ?

When your printserver stops responding (hangs/freezes), try new firmware 2.076.003.T0209, you can find it in this thread:
