I have just got a HS110 plug and set it up in my lounge to my router signal without a problem.
When I placed it where I want it, it seems to be out of range of my wifi.
I then set it up using a wifi extender that has a different name to my router.
Once it was set up it, it shows connected ( green wifi bands ) but I cannot connect with the app even though my phone is on the extender signal.
If I reset the plug to the main router signal it works fine but I then cannot use it in the room I want.
Should I be able to set it up to my extender or does it need to connect to the main router signal.
If I can set it up using an extender, do i need to be on that wifi signal to control the plug or can i be on the main router signal.
