I watched those. However I couldn't find the section

" All the LEDs are on but the powerline extender doesn't actually emit a 5G signal (for which dual capability I spent double the money)" ? Where's that please ?

@tplink

Hi TP link,

I think its time to tell the people why the newer products don't seem to get the minimal speed of their older powerline adapters had.

Please see my comments below (also posted in a seperate topic):

I'm also having issues after replacing the TL-WPA4220 with the TP-PA8033P. (which SHOULD be an upgrade.... )

I dropped in speed (on the same powersockets as before) in 10 fold.

From 65Mbit to 6Mbit on the LAN of the adapter.

Tried out several power sockets and everywhere its the same.

Connected my older TL-WPA4220 and i have directly 65+ Mbit.

I found back in other forum topics that many people complain about the later TP-Link powerline adapters, they seem not to work as the older versions do.

TP link support is not coming back to people, only asking to test it on different power sockets etc and then nothing anymore.

It gets blamed on peoples electricity lines / disturbance, but as many people here can see... older TP link powerline adapters DO work.

And no new firmware has come out for those devices.

@Peter36 I posted about the same thing. I even put both power line adaptors side by side, at two socket outlets that are sharing the same electrical source and the speed still drops half from whats being subscribed. Side by side. I have checked the port and cable, connected to laptop and we can get full speed.

Hi - I have watched the videos and I'm still stuck. When I plug my homeplug AV600 into wall and connect to router, the middle LED with home symbol does not light up. How can I fix this?

@MrsB middle (house icon)  light tells you how it is connecting to another powerline adapter in the powerline network (the one through the mains cabling).

If you only have one plugged in there can be no powerline network.
