TP-LINK Archer T9E PCIe Wireless Adapter VERY SLOW Windows 10
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Yesterday I purchased the above PCI Card and installed it successfully. It's working fine with no issues reported however it's nowhere near as fast as it should be.
Sat next to the computer and testing my wifi using my phone I get almost 30Mbs but through the PC i get somewhere between 8-13Mbs so something is obviously wrong.
The card is showing in device manager as TP-Link 802.11ac and I have downloaded the latest driver from the website.
Windows 10 wifi settings are showing the protocol as 802.11n and the band as 2.4GHz (my router is also able to do 5GHz but I can't see how to change that or even if that would help?
Any tips welcomed! Thanks.
