Hi all,

I recently bought a VR600v to replace my 8 year old Technicolor TG587n v3 modem. I've set up the VR600v, completed the quick setup and signed in with my Telstra username/password but the Internet Test always fails at the end. I'm on ADSL2+.

I can connect to the router/modem itself but the internet is not working. I've resetted and ran through quick setup multiple times, tried multiple usernames and passwords, switched the ADSL2+ filter supplied by Telstra with the VDSL filter that came with the VR600v but nothing has worked so far.

I currently have the VR600v in wireless router mode with the TG587n v3 in bridge mode. While this works, my main aim is to replace the old technicolor modem and have the VR600v as a standalone modem/router.

I'm still quite new to networking and how routers/modems work so any help is appreciated.
