Hi,

Just wanted to check if anyone has tried this setup (GX90 as main router w/ RE815X as a mesh)?

Just wanted to know if the 5GHZ-2 SSID will be copied over to RE815X 6GHZ SSID?

If not, will i be able to manually configure those bands so i can still use those bands

Hi, since RE815X does not have 6Ghz, I think you might refer to RE815XE?

EasyMesh is backward compatible with OneMesh so you could create a OneMesh network using GX90 and RE815XE.

5G-2 on the GX90 will not be copied over 6GHz on the RE815XE. You could still use these two bands and should be able to edit the 5G-2 and 6Ghz settings separately.

Thank you very much and best regards.

Hi,

Both, the Archer GX90 as well as the RE815X have the three bands 2.4GHz, 5GHz-1 and 5GHz-2.

So, unless there is an unexpected bug in either firmware, creating a Tri-Band OneMesh network between the two should work.
