Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.6.2

I have various devices such as a weather station, boiler and security cameras that have to be connected via the 2.4Ghz network.   I can connect to these when the device I am using is connected to the 2.4Ghz wifi.  I am not able to connect to the devices if I am connected to the 5Ghz network.  Is there anyway to fix this.

Similarly, I have a Raspberry Pi connected via ethernet cable.  I can connect to it using 5Ghz wifi but not the 2.4Ghz.

Hi,

Are all devices connect to host network?

Please make sure device isolation is not enabled.

How to set up Device Isolation on a TP-Link Router/Deco

Please also try to ping the device IP address address. And also provide a screenshot of the error message when it fails to connect.

Thanks for the reply. When you mentioned device isolation, I've just realised I've made a schoolboy error smiley. I have 2 WiFi networks, one for 2.4Ghz network and another one with a different SSID for the 5Ghz network. To get around the problem, I just added the 2.4Ghz band to the network with the 5Ghz and setup the devices to use this network. I can now see all of the devices.

Just out of interest, I looked everywhere in the deco app for my m4r devices and I don't see the device isolation option anywhere?
