Region : UnitedKingdom

Model : TL-WPA281

Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : 1.0.4 Build 141030 Rel.50540n

ISP : TalkTalk DSL

Both the WiFi and wired networks are OK but I note the time shown on the System/System log page of the control interface reports a date of "Time = 1970-01-01 1:30:06 5408s". The date is clearly wrong but the time is actually the system up time. Interestingly the user manual also shows a 1970 date where the system log is explained.

To the question...Where is the TL-WPA4230P time derived from?

I ask because I have a problem getting access to the control the DSL Modem (DSL-3860 latest firmware v1.12t Hw A.1), after a short time I cannot access the modem via 192.168.1.1- the browser runs continuously without resloving or timing out (this is with & without the powerline units connected) so I wondered if the time reported from the TL-WPA4230P was derived from the ISP's modem. Maybe this is the contributing to the error I am experiencing. The error prevents me from looking at the Modems "time".

Any ideas?

1970-01-01 is Unix epoch, nothing to do with your ISP's modem.
As to the modem issue, you should contact your ISP.
