[Urgent] HomeShield License Activation Failed on Archer AX53 (ERR_CODE_-5020)
Dear TP-Link Engineering & Admin Team,
I am requesting a backend status check for my account and device. My paid HomeShield Total Security Package subscription cannot be applied to my router due to a cloud server synchronization error.
Account & Device Information:
- TP-Link ID / Cloud Account: shahinmdshahidulislam2003@gmail.com
- Router Model: Archer AX53 (AX3000)
- Router MAC Address: C0-3A-55-EA-29-E8
- Active Subscription: Total Security Package (Yearly – valid until September 2027)
Technical Issue:
When attempting to assign the subscription to my Archer AX53 inside the Tether app (My HomeShield > Select a Network > Confirm), the app fails to process the request and throws the following cloud response error:
ERR_CODE:-5020
Steps Already Taken:
- Verified that the router is correctly bound to my TP-Link ID in the web management portal (Advanced > TP-Link ID).
- Confirmed that system time, region, and network connection are properly set and synchronized.
- Re-logged into the Tether app and cleared local cache files.
Could a TP-Link engineer or forum admin please check the backend cloud database mapping for my TP-Link ID and manually sync/verify the HomeShield license address on the server side?
Thank you for your assistance.
