Really?? When?? I have bought 4 tapo p100 and am very disappointed with function. I think I'm going to have to return them to the store.

Hey! I upgraded to ITEAD Sonoff Basic R2. I put them in a break in the power cable or the power filter wire. It turns out better and more reliable and does not take up 3 sockets in an outlet, as smart sockets do. Try it. Costs only $ 5

Thank you for your feedback and patience!  Set the power state of Tapo plug is Now available for some TAPO models.

@Solla-topee Ultimate solution would be if tapo return into it's previous state after power return.

If it was off before then it should stay off, if it was on before then it should turn on again.

 

I'm using 2 Tapos and I wish that one is on by default (boiler), the other depends on current state (light).

 

In this case you will satisfied all people wishes.

Can you do that?

I already received the firmware with this feature, tested and it works! Thanks for earing us Tapo.

 

Firmware version is 1.4.9

Just receive 2 tapo P100 today. After update latest firmware 1.3.4, it still remain off after power cut. Useless and keep in drawer.
