I've just purchased two C310's from the same store. One of them has firmware 1.0.14, the other has 1.0.7. The camera running 1.0.7 occasionally loses connection to my NAS, and also is missing some motion detection features available on the other camera.
I've tried using both the iOS and macOS app to update the firmware on the camera: however, clicking on "Check for Update" doesn't do anything apart from the "checkbox" at the top of the screen redraws almost instantly - it certainly doesn't appear to be checking for anything. Both cameras are currently located in the same room as a Wifi endpoint and have a strong signal.
How can I update the camera(s) to the latest firmware, beyond returning them to the store?

Hi, i have the same problem as the rest of the people here, cameras can't be updated via tapo app. Could i get the firmware from you and manually upgrade aswell?
The chat support offered no support and didn't help at all.
Latest firmware should be 1.1.8

Can you also let me know the step of manual firmware update of C310? I have two cameras with 1.0.14 and 1.0.12 respectively.

Same here. Have two cameras but only one has updated to Firmware 1.1.10 The other is saying it's up to date but Firmware is 1.1.8. So I'm guessing that a manual update is needed, if so, how and why the secrecy in how to do it?
I was actually about to order another of these cameras but stopped the order when this happened.
