2022/02 note: as Tapo C310 V1 newer firmware(newer than1.1.10) has been released, it is recommend updating the firmware on Tapo APP directly for your camera.
Hello everyone,
We are happy here to announce that we have now released a new official firmware for the Tapo C310 V1, which is 1.1.10 Build 210908 Rel.14707n. However, some customers might not see this firmware update available in their Tapo APP when checking for updates, this is because this official firmware is released gradually to all Tapo C310s. some will get the update now while others may need to wait longer.
We appreciate your patience while waiting for this release, you could do a manual upgrade to 1.1.10 beta firmware if you cannot wait any longer. Please be sure you have read The Beta Test Agreement before proceeding!
2022/02 update: since newer firmware has been released, please update firmware of Tapo cameras in Tapo app
Modifications and Bug Fixes:
1. Optimized the motion detection feature.
2. Improved the stability of the auto-reboot feature.
3. Improved Onvif compatibility.
4. Optimized MicroSD card detection mechanism.
5. Improved system stability and fixed some minor bugs.
Note: Kindly verify the hardware version of your camera first, this beta is for V1 ONLY, it's not suitable for other hardware versions.

@CATACUTZ17 nope... I bought it on Amazon. I contacted their after-sales service and have to send it back, at my own cost, for "repair".
I haven't got any reaction from TP-link to my post... what a shame!

@TomDP Hello everyone,
If the camera got a firmware update failure, for now I would recommend try a factory reset the camera with camera powered on, check if camera still responds to a factory reset , or if the camera still broadcasts the Tapo Camera _XXX default SSID.
If factory reset does not help, please contact local support to check warranty or see if they have any further suggestions.

Camera reageerd niet op de update via de sd kaart.
Camera blijft vast staan, ook geen wifi signaal van.
gedaan volgens beschijving maar er gebeurt niets.
Na het mac adres staat EU/1.0 dus gaat er van uit dat het om versie V1 gaat.
Is er anders nog een update (boot) versie beschikbaar.

@J.Nunes I have the same issue with tapo c100, i just bought 3 yesterday, I had a great night view on all of them, updated today and it's too dark on all of them. Is there a way to go back?

Hello everyone,
As Tapo C310 V1 newer firmware 1.1.10 and later firmware have been released, it is recommend to update the firmware on Tapo APP directly for your camera.
Note: kindly note that Tapo device firmware are gradually released to Tapo users, not all in once, so you may find that some cameras receives an update while some camera doesn't, this is common. It is recommended to wait for some time like a some weeks before the firmware has been pushed to more Tapo cameras and update firmware for camera later in the APP.
As the new firmware has been released for a certain time, this topic will be temporally locked.
