As an iOs user who already used the app on Android I would also like to see this feature

I would like to choose an unique notification sound for my camera TapoC200 so I can ear the difference with others notifications (whapp for example).

Useless via iPhone without clear alarm

This feature needs to be a must have for ios, I was going to add several more Tapo cameras to my set up but not if they all make the same notification sound, its confusing enough as it is with just the three Tapo cameras.

Need to be able to choose a custom notification sound for events like motion detected, person detected, etc. currently my iPhone uses the same sound as when I receive a text message. It is annoying.

Please add notification categories in the tapo app where we can select a different sound for different event notifications.

 

For example: movement notification from the doorbell shouldn't sound like the burglar alarm going off from entry sensors (and other way around). Even a temperature change from the temp sensor sounds like someone breaking in. And if you adjust the temp change notification to something nice, the burglar alarm sounds like someone just comes to say "hello".

For now, I can see no way to separate a simple event notification from a critical one based on sound/type notification. 

iOS user should not be jealous of us android users. The Tapo app in android only has 3 categories for notifications:

• Verification
• Miscellaneous
• Doorbell

 

We can set a separate sound for each category but nobody knows what they do. We can't even choose which category is for which alert. As far as I know, the tapo app uses the "Miscellaneous" sound for everything. So android has no edge on this.
