I think deleting single recordings from SD card should be possible from the app. Depending on where the camera is it's not "just" to remove the card and connect to a PC. :-)

This is a very important feature. I am surprised it isn't already included.

Being able to delete clios in the Tapo app really is a must for privacy. With multiple cameras it isn't realistic to have to remove and replace sim cards.

It would be great to have it to delete sensitive or unwanted recordings while keeping the important ones

I have just purchased a C425 from Amazon to test out.  I have an old Arlo setup that I am looking to replace. It has 6 cameras.

Not being able to delete individual recordings is one of the stupidest things I have seen in a while!  This is just Lazy on the part of Tp-link. Reformat the SD card? Why should I have to jump through so many hoops just to do something that seems logical?  What if I am adjusting the camera placement and have 10 scratch videos because I moved the camera during the process?  I have noted that the operation of these camera's is not very intuitive and this is a perfect example. What about manuals?  Why did I have to search the internet to find this arcane answer.

Regrettably, these cameras are not as good as advertised.  Your product advertisements say that you can capture a readable license plate number. I have only found that to be the case if I am within 10 feet of the plate. With the capture resolution set on its highest, I keep getting warnings that I am draining the battery too quickly.

The camera has potential, but at this point I don't think it's worth the investment. SupposedlyTp-link has a 4K camera available in the U. K. - which should fix the license plate issue, but it does not seem to be available in the U.S.. Since I can not talk to a pre-sale or tech support  person at Tp-link, I believe I will have to return this camera and find a better solution. That's bad - for both of us.

PLEASE implement this feature! It’s already there for cloud recordings, and of the 3 different brands of cameras I’ve used I can delete event clips easily from sd card. This feature may be a deal breaker that keeps me with Wyze.

Can you suggest which brand is that? I want to download continues clips but tapo only allows detection clip upto 3 min only. And needs 2 phone to operate offline , any app which supports offline use with single phone
