The original request was from a year and a half ago.  How is this not a feature yet??  Every other camera manufacturer has this option.  PLEASE allow us to temporarily snooze alerting while maintaining camera recording.  Scheduling the camera to be off is not a solution as these are ad hoc requests to stop notifications.

  @rct0 This feature request is literally years old.  I purchased two Tapo cameras to evaluate.  One camera is viewing my front yard.  A Ring doorbell also sees my front yard.  When I mow the grass both cameras notify right away.  With the Ring camera I use the Alerts Snooze feature to temporarily stop notifications, usually for an hour.  After an hour it resumes normal operations without any interaction from me.  The Tapo camera dutifully sends me notifications every 30 seconds or so for the duration of my mowing grass.  Sometimes I go into settings and stop notifications, which is permenant unless I remember to turn it back on.  This is a simple feature request but each time it is brought up by users in the forum the Tapo respondent does not seem to grasp this concept of "snoozing".  I don't get it.  I plan to buy more cameras for myself and recommend cameras for my friends and family.  I won't be recommending Tapo cameras unless this feature is added.  Sorry.
