How to switch on/off the T100 sensor
Hi. I need the sensor to scan an area only when certain condition is active. Otherwise it detects motion all the time and most of the time for no reason. Do anyone know a way to switch it out temporarily (smth like privacy mode in Tapo camera) to prolong battery lifetime? The area where the sensor is going to be installed is very busy, so it will be triggered too often.

Tapo T100 sensor cannot be turned off temporarily through software control. To turn it off, you will need to remove its battery.
In order to reduce more power consumption of the sensor due to frequent triggering, consider adjusting the sensor detection settings: reduce the detection sensitivity and increase the detection interval. How to Adjust Motion Sensitivity for Motion Sensor

@Wayne-TP Hi, thank you for the response.
Do you think this feature can be added on the software level? You know, TP-LINK promotes the T100 sensor plus H100 hub as a home alarm system, and therefore I've bought it. While reducing detection sensitivity as well as increasing detection interval do miss the purpose ultimately.
Thanks
