Hi

 

My vacuum suddenly reverses back a bit and then speeds up and smashes into what ever is in front.

Anyone else having this kind of issue?

Also it cleans in circles and does not move from there.

For similar behaviors that occur on a Tapo RV Max robot vacuum, try to add some lubricant to the green area in the image below if available.

Note: Do not apply lubricant to the cliff sensor - the red zones indicated in the picture.

>> Have you noticed whether this behavior occurs in certain specific areas? Please share a video (link) here. 

 

The robot vacuum will do self-positioning while cleaning, and it may occasionally turn in circles, particularly when navigating corners or making turns, which is normal behavior. 

 

Is your device circling a lot? Can you share its cleaning report here?

How I post a video?

I ended up doing a factory reset twice.

And it is still doing the same issue.

It reverses and then speeds up toward.

But I have noticed it only does it when it's doing a mopping stage.

Please observe whether there are steps or objects lower than the robot vacuum in front of it when this behavior occurs. If there are steps, the robot vacuum may attempt to cross over them.
