Model: Tapo C110
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: ---

Hi all,

i bought two C110 cameras, and somehow i managed to brick them!

I tried upgrading the firmware (in order to link them to homekit via homebridge) via sd card, and although it seems to be completing (light turns solid green), after i power off the camera, remove the sd card and power on again, it goes back to blinking red.

Of course it's not discoverable by the app.

Any ideas on how to un-brick them?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
It seems that the camera encounters the issue because it is using unofficial firmware and upgrading through non-recommended methods.
You can try factory resetting the camera by pressing and holding the reset button for 10 seconds and reconfiguring it. If it doesn’t help, please contact your retailer or our local team to check if the camera is still under warranty.
Best Regards
