I can't see the 24/7 recordings on the H500 smart hub
Hi,
I have the Tapo H500 and a C460 camera with solar panel.
In the beginning I have a SD card in the camera and with the latest update I can see the 24/7 recordings. The timeline was light purple.
After installing the H500 I see only the detection moments. And the timeline is white.
How can I see the 24/7 recordings with 1 FPS. Do I something wrong.

Make sure the camera's firmware is updated as well. Restart both the camera and the hub, then try to reselect the storage path.

@Wayne-TP Hi! I have just set up my H500 hub nd linked my 3 cameras to it. However, I do not see the option of enabling Continuous Capture. All 3 cameras are C425, but believe this shoudl not matter as this option must be enabled through the hub according to your advertisment?1 have tried to reboot the hub - did not help. Firware seems to be up to date (1.3.9 Build 20251218 rel.62866). Please advise.

Tapo C425 is a battery-powered camera, it does not support the features that have high power consumption, such as continuous recording, regardless of the video storage path.

@Wayne-TP Hi and thanks for your swift feedback. Then I find your marketing communication on H500 hub misleading. It says on the webpage (Tapo H500 | Smart HomeBase | Tapo): "§Up to 4 connected cameras can use 24/7 modes (Continuous Recording for wired models or Continuous Capture for battery models). All additional cameras use motion/event-based clip recording." If one reads this, one can rightfully assume that having a battery-model camera, I can have Continuous Capture for up to 4 cameras as long as I use the hub.
Anyway, could you please mention whether there is any plan for releasing Continuous Capture for C425? I have read in the community that you have been working on making such a solution available by December 2025. Is this this still valid?

The explanation states that this feature is available for cameras supporting 24/7 modes. Certain Tapo battery‑powered cameras do support 24/7 capture, which functions similarly to continuous recording and can be saved to a Tapo hub.
We do not have information regarding future feature plans for the product. Generally, you can stay informed about the latest updates by following new firmware releases. Important updates and changes will be mentioned in the firmware release notes.
