Tapo H110 Hub Infrared Remote (IR) home assistant integration?

I purchased a Tapo H110 IR hub, and was hoping to integrate it with Home Assistant to control various IR devices in my home. After adding the H110 via the tp-link home assistant integration, I can see the IR devices that I setup on the hub, however I have no way to interact with them.
Is there some way to setup automations in home assistant for the connected IR devices on this hub?

Is the hub linked to Home Assistant through Matter? You can try changing the connection method to see if it makes any difference. Here is the setup instruction for some major Matter platforms, for your reference. How to set up Matter device with Alexa, Google, Apple or SmartThings
What devices have you added to the hub?

Thanks for the reply. I've got the hub added to Home Assistant using the TP Link Smart Home integration. I've got several door sensors and temp/humidty sensors added via the hub, and they all work perfectly. Additionally it's found the IR remote devices I've added to the hub and they've been added to home assistant. Unfortunately they don't appear to expose the ability to do anything with them however, I only see "Restart" and "Unpair Device".
If I go to the hub in the Tapo app and select "bind to matter (beta)" it says "Adding IR Remote controls to third-party apps via Matter is not currently supported". So I suspect that adding the hub via Matter won't help?

Actually, Tapo devices do not support Home Assistant as the API is not open to the public. The connection method you used is likely not an official way.
About the Matter integration, can you share a screenshot of the error? Please try to disconnect the current connection between Tapo and HA, and redo it through Matter.

Above is a screenshot from within the tapo app when I go to the hub device -> manage -> Bind to Matter. Seems pretty clear that IR remotes are not supported no?

I think this is more like a prompt rather than an error message. You can just do the Matter linkage anyway, see what happens.
Ensure your HA is also updated.
