Firmware Version: 1.9.1

 

I need to know why i am not able to share my device ( Tapo C310 ) with other members.

When I entering new registered Email it tells "Email has not been Registered".

 

i have shared my device before many times with my family members but now a days it showing this error that "Email has not been Registered".

Usually this is a straight forward procedure how its not working? is it any software update glich?

 

So if you can help me sort this problem I would appreciated cause I need to share with my family members.

Hi,

There are some troubleshooting tips for device sharing failure:

    1. Make sure the Tapo app is up-to-date. Try reinstalling if needed.

    2. Ensure both your phone and device have internet access. Restart the devices if necessary.

    3. The invitee’s email must be linked to a TP-Link account. If not, register here: What is a TP-Link ID and How Do I Create One?

    4. Try another TP-Link account if possible.
