Tapo H200 v1/1.6  FW: 1.6.5 Build20260703

We have seen your calls, and our team has been working to expand the storage features of our dual-lens cameras to our H200 smart hub.

Along with support for Dual-Lens Cameras storing recordings to the H200 and bug fixes,  you’ll find a few other welcome additions in this update, such as:

• Added Support for 24/7 Capture for Battery Cameras
• Hub storage and Wi-Fi Backup feature for Dual-Lens Cameras and Tapo D260
• Added Support for the Moments Feature for the Tapo C840 (Baby Camera)
• Added Support for the Tapo T150 👀

Device Showing FW 1.7.1?

You may have seen these features in a similar update (1.7.1); however, after feedback, the firmware was redeveloped and instead re-released under 1.6.5. The 1.6.5 version contains all the features from 1.7.1, along with a few added fixes. Your device will automatically update to 1.6.5 from both lower versions of firmware and 1.7.1.

• Firmware 1.6.5 Build 20260703 rel.7825 will gradually become available to more devices over time. When your device enters the staged rollout range, you’ll be able to detect and install the update normally. 
• This is NOT a downgrade. Version 1.6.5 is actually a newer release than 1.7.1, containing the same feature set plus necessary updates. 

What Should I Do If I Have Not Received the 1.6.5 Firmware Update?

We release our firmware in waves, and with 1.6.5 only just releasing, it may take a week or two before your device can see the update. Due to the highly requested nature of the features in this update, the teams are monitoring it and will also accelerate the release accordingly.

Make sure to keep an eye out for available firmware updates and enable Auto-Update if you have not already.
