Hi,

If you're not receiving Tapo camera notifications, try the following:

1. Ensure Detection and Detection Zones are enabled in Tapo App > Camera Settings > Detection.

2. Enable the detection alarm and test if it's triggered when walking in front of the camera. If detection fails: Detection is not working on Tapo/Kasa Camera

3. If detection works fine but there are still no notifications, confirm activity notifications are enabled in Tapo App > Camera Settings > Notifications.

4. Ensure that Device Notifications are on and Do Not Disturb is off in Notifications settings under the Tapo app Me page (tap Me at the bottom right or the profile picture at the top left): Notifications: How to Set Up and Manage Tapo & Kasa Alerts in the Tapo App

5. Ensure phone notification permissions are enabled and Do Not Disturb is off: How to Troubleshoot Tapo and Kasa Notifications Not Working or Delayed

6. Verify your phone’s Wi-Fi or cellular connection is stable.

7. Reboot the camera.

8. Reinstall the Tapo app.
