Password query and zoom issue

Hardware Version :
Firmware Version : 1.1.12 build 160321
ISP : virgin
Hello all,
I have 2 issues with my nc220 camera
1. After a period of time the password stops working and i have to click forgotten password and change it ? is this normal or am i being hacked ?
2. The zoom seems to have stopped working, is there a way to get this working again ?
