currently running Firmware Version:v1.0.3 Build 20160127 Rel358240
running into constant connection drops requiring power reset every 2hrs to keep wifi alive

I purchased unit from amazon, can TP-link give credit and I would purchase higher model? As I don't seem to find a solution to the problem after posting here.

same here-- no button to update firmware-- not sure WHY the IPS would update MY PERSONAL DEVICE!!!!!
