Hi, I have a router C1200 EU v1 with beta version 180101.
When will be available final version (non-beta)?

Tx

I have contacted tplink support through email yesterday.
They told me there will be official firmware for EU AND US v1.

Hi All,

Following initial research and investigation, our Engineering Team is confident that they've determined one of the key origins of the issue. From what we have gathered so far, the issue appears to be related to some recent releases of Android OS and Google Apps. This issue stems from these devices' "Cast" feature, which sends MDNS multicast discovery packets in order to keep a live connection with Google products such as Google Home. These packets normally sent in a 20-second interval. However, we have discovered that the devices will sometimes broadcast a large amount of these packets at a very high speed in a short amount of time. This occurs when the device is awakened from the "sleep mode", and could exceed more than 100,000 packets in a short amount of time. The longer your device is in "sleep", the larger this packet burst will be. This issue may eventually cause some of router’s primary features to shut down – including wireless connectivity.

Would like to see WIFI Country/Region selectability in the upcoming non-beta firmware to enable max performance and all channels based on a specific country's regulations.

It seems that there already is non-beta firmware for EU V1. But there is no WIFI Country/Region selectability in the firmware. I guess tplink sell the specific version to specific country/region. There is no global version.

Maybe they consider client should obtain IP from the router DHCP Server. So the AP do not support address reservation.

Router Mode permits DHCP Server and DHCP Address Reservation
AP Mode only permits DHCP Server, no address Reservation.
Has no sense.

But I think the DHCP on AP is useless.
Maybe you can suggest tplink engineer add this function.
