I have enabled the skill. I can turn the switch on and off via the KASA app. When I try to add a device on the Alexa app, i get the message "No new devices found". And, I have no devices connected at all.

I read that I do not need a hub. Is that correct?

I can use the device on my smartphone but unable to get Amazon Dot to find it. Also - anyone know how to share the device with others in the family so they can use their smartphone to turn on and off the device when I am not there?

I also met the same problem a few days ago , but now it was resolved, I didn't change anything, they just work well suddenly.

Have the same problem. All but one of my Kasa devices is working fine. One was discovered but cannot connect with Alexa, works fine in Kasa remote.

I reset the Kasa device to factory reset, then opened Alexa and rediscovered. That worked! We’ll see if it holds.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION ON ANOTHER BLOG!! There is one important step that is required, but not included in the KASA instructions. After you link the HS100 to the app, click on it. At that point, in the upper right hand corner of the screen, you will see a "settings" icon. Click on it. The first option if for "Remote Control". Turn it on, and everything will work fine. Note: this is not the same settings as found on the home screen. this is specific to the HS100 that you linked to the app.

I fixed this by factory resetting the Amazon dot and then registering it. It then started working. I didn't have to factory reset the HS100. Hope that helps.
