I have been trying to setup my Smart Plug. Talking with Tec he sent me the download via Email. Cant establish contact with Tec. I have the download but not sure what to do next. So many files. Have been working on this for hours.

When you open the download, look for a file called MAIN, click that and the rest is easy

Hello!Can anyone help me, I bought a TP-link Smart HS100 socket. I have lost an internet connection at upgrade, now I have red wi fi light on... but the socket does not want to connect.
I think the software is broken :(

I pressed and held for more than a minute nothing happened...wi fi light is still red.

The plug may be broken if it didn't respond to reset. Did you experience power outage during update? If not, you may report to tplink
