Unable to connect with my Google Hub due to local only issue. I do not see a post about a resolution is there somebody that can point me in the right direction to figure out how to fix this issue. Thank you in advance.

A few questions to better assist you.  

 

1.  Do you have any other Kasa Devices?

2.  Are you currently signed into a Kasa Account 

3.  Have you tried to sign out and sign back in?

4.  Have you tried to hard reset the device and reconfigure it?

5.  Have you tried to move the device closer to your router?

I was having the same problem, but with Alexa rather than Google Hub. I fixed it in the Kasa app as follows: Devices > Actions (top left) > Settings > Firmware Update > follow instructions.
