Firmware Version: 3.2.4_9

This is my second unit as I thought 1st was defective. Same issue with replacement. Pairs great to 2nd unit then disconnects after 3-5 minutes. In same room, same circuit and randomly disconnects every time. Comcast carrier, Motorola Modem, Linkysys 8300 Router. What am I doing wrong. Please help.

You will want to connect to the unit via the tpPLC app and see if there are any line issues being detected.  Here is an FAQ on this:  https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1086/

Carl, thanks for the tip. I do have the tpPLC utility loaded. I see the base unit. The extender is visible and linked for the duration of the time the units remain paired. Once the 3-5 minute duration of connection elaspes the "extender" drops off the utility view. When i re-pair the devices, or in my case just unplug and plug back in it reappears for the short duration. Any other thoughts?

To rule out interference i would recommend moving the remote unit into the same room as the base unit.  If possible connect it to the same wall but a different outlet and see if the connection continues to drop.  This is to test if there is interference on the actual power line that is causing the unit to drop off.
