However, in silence mode no sound is played. That's normal behaviour, but an app like this should have the option to overrule the sound-settings when a notification appears. Also, an option to select what kind of sound would be nice.
It would be nice if we could but at this time TP-Link's apps use the devices native notifications and we do not have the authority to override any of the settings. This means when you slient your device the notifications will also be slient, as you have encountered. We also at this time do not have any plans for custom notification sounds, but we will send the request to our design team.
