Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.4 Build 20190310 rel.74999(5553)

My current setup consists of the new AX6000 + an RE650 which is wired ~150ft cat6. My frustration is with the network map/management of the two similar gen devices and how the AX6000 and RE650 are completely unaware of eachother. The connected devices become split between the network map and management on both devices aside from DHCP on the main router. I would like to see more integration here if possible. One map, full view ability and integration of the similar gen devices onto one web login GUI.

Example: The GUI of the AX6000 displays all 20ish devices connected to the RE650 on the other side of the house as wired... just annoying. Having them aware of what eachother are doing would be great. Otherwise the new TP-Link gear is awesome. 1.25gbps (my full connection speed) on a cell phone lol... :)

The Ethernet port on the RE650 is not for a wired backhaul.  It servers two purposes:  1.  to allow physical connection of client devices while in RE mode.  2.  A connection point to the router in AP mode.

By the way you describe the use you have the Device in AP mode and that would make sense they they should up as different devices because the are different APs, essentially spliting the network map.

K, any ideas for a better network map view of all connected devices? The current view is only 6 items tall using web interface. A full map view containing a renamable device name field, ip, MAC address etc.

I guess what you need is the future-promised OneMesh availability on both router and repeater. Once OneMesh is enabled, it is supposed to work together as a Mesh network and you will be able to manage everything from the router and the RE650 will only serve as a network extender with roaming capabilities so seemless connection will be enabled. Or at least that is what I understood you needed...
