This morning, for the first time since Jan 2019 I started getting this error 80002. I have also had and error code 1 whilst rebooting.  I use VDSL and have a gigabit ethernet throughout the house - all has been working fine until this mornng.

For me this was an expensive modem/router so I am hoping that this is something simple.

Part of the network is a Synology RT1900 in bridge mode for onward connection to distant devices via a 16 port gigabit automatic switch - or does this complicate the issue?

Advice please - I am sure that others have experienced this somewhere!

@Birddog

Some users have seen that when torrenting noting the NAT table would get overloaded.

Is there a certain activity or process you do where you notice the error or is it random?
