Model: Archer A10

Firmware Version:

I have an Archer A7 router.  I can't figure out how to change it from 5 g to 2.4 g.  It is not intuitive at all.  My Windows 10 pc shows that the setting is 5 g.  I have tried looking at all the different settings on the login site.  I need to use 4.5 g for my Sonos system.

Use separate SSIDs then assign or delete (forget) the network settings on the devices.

@denny1700   I'm not very hi-tech.  I don't understand how to do that.

Sign on to the router user interface and go to the WIFI settings, and make the SSIDs different for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. See https://www.tp-link.com/us/user-guides/archer-a10_v1/chapter-13-customize-your-network-settings#ug-sub-title-5 chapter 13 for more info. BTW do not hide the SSID as it makes things harder for you and does not secure your network.
