Sorry If I am not giving you guys the right info sort of new to all this. I went online and it told me to check ipv6 under protocols and it had a checkmark. However, when I went to the other site suggested by the other gentleman on test ipv i got No IPv6 address detected.

Looks like your PC does have an IP Address that is IPv6.

 

However, if it was using IPv6, CNN.COM would have shown it.

 

Suspect your ISP is using the IPv4 DNS which is DOUBLE STACKED? I am not using the ISP's DNS for IPv6, but Google's ones. I set it in the Advance setting for IPv6:

 

Try doing that, probably have to reboot the router to be sure it switches (might not need to though) and test CNN.COM again.

Also ran a speed test but its the same speed. Not sure if I did this right, but I tried to copy what you did.

I'd check with the ISP to be sure you do have native IPv6 available to you. It took awhile to get an 'athoratative' answer... and I could NEVER get the real IPv6 DNS IP Address from them. It never populated into my router, but it did work? Suspect a Dual IPv4 DNS stack is in use? By the way, my ISP is Spectrum (Charter).
