Is this 1.6 version considered stable ? I see many complains in the forum. As me and my wife are both working from home I'm hesitant to update if will introduce issues to the current stable wifi.

Is there simple rollback option in case something is not stable ?

I've had a lot more trouble than usual in the last few months (devices unable to connect, wifi unstable for some connected devices, no device wifi usage shown in app, unable to log in to Deco's web interface; all of which seem to go away after rebooting all the Decos), but I don't know how closely that tracks with upgrading to 1.6.

I hoped this might be a simple hardware problem, maybe even just a bad power supply for the main unit, but the fact that I'm able to use the app to reboot the Decos suggests the problem lies in the software.

Simple rollback: there does not seem to be. The web "upgrade" UI for my M5 running 1.6.1 rejected the latest 1.5.x firmware.

TP-Link support have been very responsive but at this point I've begun shopping around. And I don't expect my next setup to be a TP-Link both because of my concerns about their software quality and the fact that newer Decos require an additional subscription for some features like parental controls that are included at no extra cost for Deco M5 systems.
